Recently I’ve:
- made a fairy castle out of toilet rolls
- decorated some more of my wigwam
- made an Easter bunny mask

Recently I’ve:

I collect fallen twigs as kindling, and help daddy bring up the logs to the wood store for drying. I’ve recently been shown how to lay the fire. You start with crumpled newspapers, then add kindling, then gradually stack larger logs on top. This week, I’ve been allowed to lit the fire which is the most exciting part.

We’re making a volcano, just like the one I visited in Lanzarote.
Step 1 – assemble the plastic volcano mold
Step 2 – mix up the plaster of paris
Step 3 – pour into the mould
Step 4 – wait for it to set.

The weather has improved and I’ve been making the most of it.

I’ve been helping with the washing up, and whilst we were staying at our friends house, I helped them make spaghetti bolognese and custard.

Every week I attend Doyle’s Drama Academy and I have just been moved up to the 7-14yr group, even though I am only 5.
We are busy rehearsing for our show, I have several solo lines, plus a poem, song and dance to do with the rest of the group.

I had an amazing time visiting Cadbury World today.
Things Learnt:

During our weekend visit fo Birmingham, our friends took us to visit Attwell Farm.
Learning Opportunities:

This weekend we stayed at our friends house in Birmingham.
They live in the countryside and had wild badgers, deer and foxes visit their garden most evenings. During our stay we saw two badgers and a fox visit.
Our friends have trail cameras setup in their garden and when an animal arrives, the cameras send a notification to their phones. We were then able to watch the animals live on the cameras. Depending on whereabouts in the garden the animal was, we could sometimes shine a torch out of the kitchen window and see the badgers in front of us.
Badgers are much bigger than I thought they were.

Today I made a fairy garden. Mummy supplied me with a plant tray, then I collected lots of moss, stones and flowers from our garden. I laid everything out and finished it off with a couple of toys.
