I am learning to read. Today we played a game where I picked up a picture card, had to identify what the picture was and then put it in the correct letter slot.
The only one I got wrong was Owl, I put it in A rather than O.

Planting Potatoes
Every year we grow our own potatoes. This year I was more involved than ever. I hellped weed the raised bed, then I planted the potatoes and helped cover them with soil and then water them in.
Roast potatoes are my favourite potatoes.

New Lego Set
My parents friends came to visit and brought me a book on horses and a new lego set which I built all by myself.

Easter Extravanganza
This was the best Easter ever.
My uncle and cousin came to stay for the long weekend and we had so much fun.
- I did lots of crafting including making an Easter wreath using rhine stones.
- I did an Easter Egg treasure hunt with 10 clues around my garden.
- I learnt a little about why we celebrate Easter, we discussed religions and different faiths
- I helped make Victoria Sponge cake

A Super Social Week
The last week has been incredible social.
Fri – my home ed friend, Madara came over for the day
Sat – went to a birthday party, then met up with another home ed family for a session at softplay
Sun – dinner at our friends house
Mon – my home ed friend, Olive came over for the day
Tue – went to a Bubble Show in Aberystwyth with another home ed family
Wed – my school friend, Maisie came over for the day
Thu – my usually Plant Dewi group, then my friend from group came back to my house to play for a few hours, then I had my final swimming lesson until next winter.
Fri – Sun – my cousin and uncle visit for the Easter weekend

Music Maker
This week at Plant Dewi group we had an session on drumming and making music. We had an lady visit with a selection of different size Bongo drums.

All about Castles
I learnt more about castles today and completed some worksheets. I remembered what a draw bridge was, as there was one at the castle we visited in Lanzarote.
Things Learnt:

- discussion about the purpose of castles
- developing writing skills by doing a maze and wordsearch
- maths skills, identifying and continuing patterns
- learning greater than and less than signs
- creativity skills, designing our family coat of arms

The Bubble Show
We went to see The Bubble Show at Aberystwyth Theatre.
It was magically, the magician sent bubbles through his head. It went in one ear and out the other.
He had a book that made bubbles and then caught fire. There was another bubble that was the size of a car. I loved the show.
