I’ve just come back from a sleep over with my aunty on her farm.

I helped out with all the animals, which includes:

• chickens
• horses
• sheep
• owls
• dogs
• cats

We had to catch the chickens and carry them one by one from their day run to their secure house.

We had to feed all the animals and move the sheep and horses between the fields. I’m now big enough (and strong enough) to open and close all the gates on the track leading down to the farm.

We had to walk to dogs and do some jobs in the garden.

My aunty makes rugs and clothes and things from the wool she gets from her sheep. She showed me how her new loom room and her spinning wheel and explained how they worked.

Together we made a wool seat cushion for mummy using a peg loom.
