We took a family walk down our woods and streams. Lots of trees have fallen this year in the storms and the river is hard to cross.

We found the remains of a pigeon, there were feathers everywhere.

We also saw a Red Admiral Butterfly and a hairy caterpillar, it’s very late in the year to find a caterpillar.

Even though the river is quite low at the moment I still managed to find the deep bits so the water came over the top.

We spotted three different types of funghi on our walk, I know never to touch wild mushrooms as some can be deadly poisionous.
