Today I learnt about absorbency.

We put a clean nappy and a flannel in a bowl of water.

Observations:

• The nappy swelled up
• The nappy become very heavy
• When we lifted both items out of the bowl lots of water came out of the flannel straight away but the nappy only realised a few drops.
