Le Mans, France

We spent the day exploring Le Mans. Although this city is famous for a 24 hour motorcar race, we just visited the city centre. We walked around the streets of the old town and went into the specatular Cathedral of Saint Julian of Le Mans. This Catholic cathedral took hundreds of years to build and was finally completed in 1430, that’s almost 600 years ago!

We did some shopping in the new town and I enjoyed watching the trams. We found a giant watering can with tools but didn’t know what it was for. It’s funny what you find when you explore.
