After the Steam Punk Festival mummy and I visited St Catherines Island and fort. At low tide you can walk to it across the sand. There is a small entrance fee but it’s well worth it.

The fort was built in the 13th century but more recently it was a zoo. There used to be monkeys and alligators living on the island.

The fort itself was a bit scary, it had been decorated for halloween. We visted the chapel and saw where the big guns used to sit. We also went downstairs to the prison.
