The farmers in Dorset we very busy harvesting their crops.

We parked up and watched a combine harvester for a little while. It has a big wheel on the front that spins around chopping down the crops. The machine then sorts the grain from the stems.

Whilst the combine is driving along, it has a big arm that comes out of the side and it loads the grain into the back of a tractor that drives along beside it.

This is a much faster way to do farming, years ago it, before combine harvesters this was all done by hand with the help of a horse or two.
