We found a dead mole in our garden.

Things learnt:

• they live in tunnels under the ground and are responsible for making mole hills that are mounds of soil that they have excavated (which means to move soil or earth from the ground) from their tunnels.
• they eat worms and other grubs and insects
• moles live 3 – 6 years
