Today I helped mummy in the garden. First, we sorted out the greenhouse, and found some plant pots and seed trays that we could reuse. Next, we emptied out some big old pots and reused some of the soil to plant new seeds in.
We planted two types of courgette, sunflowers and sweet peas in individual pots. Then we planted a tray of pansys and a tray of petunias. I was surprised at how different the seeds looked:
- the courgette seeds were really big
- the sunflower seeds were smaller and stripey
- the sweet pea seeds were really round, like little balls.
- the petunia seeds were absolutely tiny, fairy size, these were my favourites.
