• House Maintenance

Today I helped mummy do various outside maintenance jobs on our house. First we swept up some of the loose stones from the driveway. Then we washed the window sills as they were all green and yucky.

Our final job involved repainting on our the outside walls, we turned it from black to white.

  • Card Making

Nearly all my friends have birthdays in March and April so I have a lot of cards to make.

I also made some thank you cards for all the Easter Eggs and money I received from my family.

  • Self Portrait

I was given an art set so decided I would draw a self portrait.

  • Easter Sunday on the farm

My Aunty and my cousin set up an amazing Easter Egg on her farm.

Afterwards I helped feed the horses and sheep.

  • Folly Farm

One this visit to Folly Farm we completed the Easter trail and learnt lots about different animals that hatch out of eggs.

    Things learnt:

    • Snake eggs have a soft outer shell
    • Penguins makes their nests out of their poo.
    • Penguin poo is called guano
    • Pelicans use their big feet to incubate their eggs
    • A group of eggs is called a clutch

Instead of buying a wrist band, this time we bought some tokens and I tried lots of old fashioned games.

These are good for practicing by hand/eye coordination. I won several prizes including some scratch art pictures.

  • Geese

We have a pair of canada geese that return to our pond every year to nest.

We buy corn to feed them, although they also eat lots of grass.

I like learning about the geese, we talk about their behaviours and it’s really fun watching the goslings grow.

  • Utterly Revolting Science Show

We went to see the Utterly Revolting Science Show at Ffwrded Theatre.

It was really fun, they did experiments that made bangs and flashes of light. They mixed chemicals like lemon juice and washing powder to change some water from purple to green.

There were a few times when they asked for volunteers from the audience and one of the ladies had an experiment done in her mouth!

We learnt about farts, burps and a bit about digestion.

  • Day old chicks and Aberporth Walk

After Plant Dewi group, my friend and I were invited back to another friend’s house to see their day old chicks that they have raised.

Some were still in the incubator in their eggs, others hatched yesterday and were in a different container under a heat lamp.

After this we had fish and chips in Aberporth and then we did some of the coastal walk towards Tresaith.

Finally, there was some time to play in Llandysul Park before going to drama club.
