To break up our drive back from the Netherlands, we spent a nigt on the campsite at Wellington Country Park. This also allows us to spend some time in the park.
Just like in the Netherlands, there were families of geese everywhere and I enjoyed sharing some of my lunch with them. I also enjoyed watching a flock of Jackdaws raiding someone’s unattended pushchair and managing to steal and open a packeet of crisps.
We saw Egyptian geese, Greylag geese, Canada geese and Coots all with babies. The Egyptian goslings looked like stripy humbugs they were so fluffy and cute.

I also enjoyed walking around the dinosaur trail they have. We took two trips on the miniature railway. I spent time on the big jumping pillow and in the many playgrounds.
Whilst we were walking around the big lake we found a magical path through the woods that was covered in snow like seeds along the edges. They are really soft and it felt like I was holding a cloud.
