Today at Plant Dewi group we made bird feeders.

First we made a hole in the bottom of a plastic cup. Then we put a piece of string through the hole and tied a knot underneath.

Next we mixed together raisins and birdseed with melted lard.

We filled the cup with the mixture, ensuring that the string stayed in the middle of the cup.

We took them home and put the in the fridge to set.

We are going to put ours outside on Monday so the birds have some food to eat whilst we are on holiday.
