Victorian Night

Last night I went to the Victorian Night in Newcastle Emlyn. This is an annual event where the shops stay open late and people dress up in Victoria clothes. I loved it as most shops were giving away free sweets, chocolates and mince pies, it reminded me of trick or treating.

There was a fire engine on display and children were invited to sit inside the fire engine, put on a helmet and have a go on their radios. Some of us also got to hold the fireman’s hose, it was really heavy.

There were real reindeer in a pen that we could see and ask questions about.

There were Shire horses doing carriage rides up and down the high street, they were beautiful black horses.

There were Carol Singers singing beside the Christmas Tree, they were singing Christmas Carols. Everyone who wanted to, was invited to jo up and join them singing Jingle Bells, I opted to do this as I love to be on stage.
