I’ve had a high temperature all week and I have been vomiting. Today I woke up and my eyes really hurt, I have a headache, no energy and can’t face any food. As the morning went on, I started to develop a rash on my face so daddy took me to the emergency department at hospital. It’s called A&E which stands for accident and emergency. It was very boring as we had ti wait quite a long time.

I saw three different doctors and luckily I just have flu and nothing more serious. They gave me some medicine and told me to drinks lots and rest.

I’ve learnt when you’re ill it’s very important to keep your fluids up and rest. If your symptons get worse then you should see your doctor.

I’ve also learnt that hospitals have lots of different departments that are called Wards.
