Mummy and I went to watch the New Quay fireworks display. It was really good, some of them were really loud, others fizzed and popped.

We celebrate Bonfire Night because of Guy Fawkes. He and a group of other Roman Catholics plotted to blow up the houses of parliament on 5th November 1605. It was called the Gunpowder Plot.
