Daddy found a hedgehog in the garden last night and took this photo to show me.

Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals (that means they only come out at night). They eat slugs so gardeners like having hedgehogs in their garden.

When they are frightened they curl up into a ball so their spikes protect them from predators.
