When I was in Portsmouth, the tide was out and whilst I was exploring the beach I found a funny white thing. It was a cuttlefish shell. It’s soft on one side and hard on the other.

I learnt that people buy them for their pet birds like parrots and budgies, as they can use it to keep their beaks and nails short.

I love exploring beaches, I like walking on the crunchy and slippery seaweed and looking for crabs and other creatures.

There is always such a distinctive smells when the tide is out.
